Liberty Tax - Esperanza Espinoza (tax preparer) Fraud, Stole $600 from my tax refund Santa Ana California

I filed my taxes at Liberty Tax on 431 First St. in Santa Ana, CA 92701 and they are experts in ripping off their customers. First of all, they make you sign your forms on an electronic pad attached to their computer and they refuse to give you copies of your signed tax forms.

After my taxes were completed I was told that my refund would be $1,433.00 from the IRS. She did not give me copies of my forms and did not even show us what we were signing. I went back a couple days later to demand copies of my forms and after getting a huge runaround about getting copies, I finally got these.

When I reviewed the forms I realized that the refund amount shown on my 1040 was actually $2,230.00 and not $1,433.00 like Esperanza Espinoza had told me. I went back into their office to question this and no one could explain the $800 discrepancy. I was told I could come back the next day and talk to a manager and also that my contact info would be given to her to contact me.

I finally got a call back from one of the managers and all she could tell me was that the $800 were fees for filing my taxes. She said she would agree to give me a refund of $200 but that was all she could do,

This is so unethical, how could these people call themselves professionals. They rip off their customers in such a blatant way and don't care about it.

I explained last year I had done my taxes with them and paid only $185.00 and she again could not explain why the $600+ increase.

I am so upset about this and do not understand how crooks like this can operate businesses where all they do is fradulently steal from their customers. They request that the IRS refund be deposited to their bank account and steal a huge portion of it and then give you whatever they want to give you.

Please anything you can do to keep these theaves from stealing from us hard working people, will be greatly appreciated.
