 I am a first time customer at Lifereader.com. I tried out the service and initiated a chat reading with advisor, Bill at the raye of $4.99 a minute. The reading was very hard to understand as the written communication skill of the advisor was very poor. I could not understand what he was trying to tell me, he also took a long time to respond, which I believe to be a tactic to earn more money. That's was fine because I knew I could be refunded and eventually try another advisor. I have been receiving psychic readings for years and know when I receive inadequate and unskilled advise. I emailed customer service at support@lifereader.com and was communicating with Thomas, the representative assigned to my request. Not only did Thomas as to review my reading and tell me that he didn't understand why I found it unsatisfactory, but he also asked me to point out each instance I considered to be unsatisfactory. I did as he requested, though I have never been asked to do it before with any other site which I usually received readings. The next email I received from Thomas was completely out of order, rude, and antagonizing. Below are actual comments Thomas wrote to me in response to my refund request; " I don't want to delve too d­eep into this as there are things which ­just don't stack up". In the same response, he said, "And you're critiqueing him on his use of­ Apostrophe's?!?! (should i have put an ­apostrophe there tbh I don't know !!)". "Rather than back and forth given we view­ this Reading as perfectly normal and so­und I propose that we refund you half th­e value of the Reading (call it $18). Th­is ensures that the Reader is still paid­ for the session and it is LifeReader wh­o is not.". I have never received responses so rude and antagonistic from anyone within a customer support role at any company ever. I advised him to refund me whatever amount he was going to refund me and to bever personally contact me again. I requested that our email conversation be forwarded to a supervisor right away. We'll see what happens in this respect. Since then, I have bee searching out anyone in charge to report this unprofessional behavior. Because of this experience, I would not suggest anyone do business with Lifereader.

Thomas is the ONLY customer service as it seems. Ive dealt with him in the past and i no longer read with lifereader because theyre ALL amateurs!

So, I received more emails from the unprofessional customer service representaive, Thomas, who claims he is also in charge of customer service for lifereader.com regarding my attempts to speak to management. This email was a lot nicer, by the way, being that I told him I was reporting his poor service and behavior to multiple social media sights. He states that all I had to do was ask for the full refund and it would have been done.

 

Thomas advised me that I have a red flag on my account due to my report here at ripoffreport.com and therefore was having a problem posting my refund back to my card account. Hopefully, he will get this issue resolved in a polite and professional manner.

Luckily for me, this post cannot be deleted. Thank you ripoffreport.com. It would not be fair to be forced to remove this report in order to get a refund. If lifereader.com and Thomas would like to show consumers that the take their customer's issues and complaints seriously, they could arbitrate my claim themselves and work it out here on ripoffreport.com. Otherwise, I am still waiting on Thomas to refund me. I will keep you posted as to how this gets worked out.
