Are requesting me to pay $19.37 as of February 09, 2015. There had to be months since I been in a toll road, and the only toll road I’ve taken at any point is the “Florida Sunpass” which has a very efficient billing system, never had a problem with it.

However, this letter does not from or on behalf of Florida Sunpass, but from “Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP” which claim to work for (not the DMV) but the THEA. They threat to suspend your tag under Florida law.

Now, I know this is a ripoff. However, these people are dangerous criminals… They can play the system to get me in trouble, try to suspend my license, etc. So I’ll have to give them the money.

I am being mugged, and the only way I could fight back is through a lawyer which would cost even more money. This kind of ripoff is new, and booming, is happening more and more.

In my opinion just buy a license plate camera blocker. They are legal in most states but check your local law. Of course your intent is to protect yourself in an area like this, a limbo of justice as there is no police or authority to protect you from these kind of criminals, is up to you to protect yourself.

Do what you do never, never, never use a toll road if you don’t have to, set your GPS system to avoid toll roads. Do not support ripoffs nor associates.
