On 3/26/2011, I began to watch an auction for a pocketbook lot on liquidation.com in hopes of bidding and winning the auction.  There were a total of 36 items in the lot, most of which were pocketbooks and wallets.  There were a few photos of the items, and some showed slight cosmetic defects. Since the products were listed under the companies "returns" category, I understood that there may be a few items that were less than perfect.  I called the customer service department and asked what to expect if I bid, won, and received the items.  A pleasant woman said "They are items which were returned to department stores, likely because the customers just found they didn't like the product or it wasn't what they wanted".  I SPECIFICALLY asked if they would be damaged or badly stained and was told "No. There may be a few purses with small cosmetic defects, but the majority should be fine".

I ended up winning the auction on 3/29/11.  The total cost of the lot including shipping and a buyers premium fee was about $471.00.  2 large boxes were delivered about a week later.  Almost every single item had MAJOR cosmetic defects or was broken/non functional.  I immediately called customer service and they mentioned to take photos and submit a dispute.  I took photos and even shot a YouTube video to show the defective goods.  About 1 week later, I received an email stating that my dispute and request for a refund/return was denied because the items fit the description listed.  This company is perhaps the WORST I've ever purchased from and are downright destructive to the people who give them their business.  Are there happy customers of liquidation.com? Sure.  However, there is something very wrong with the practices of a company when there are THOUSANDS of similar complaints all over the web.

Please help me organize a class action lawsuit against this company.

I also have a website, (((REDACTED))).com which very soon, will be a place where people can share their complaints with this company.  The goal of this website WILL NOT be to slander any specific individual of the company, but instead will attempt to do the following: 1.)Persuade Liquidity Services to practice their business ethically.   2.) To make it known publically that there are many dissatisfied cus
