I was not behind when I called Litton Loan to apply for a loan mod however my husband and I self employed and could not refinance because of the current market not to mention the fact we had an adjustable that they are billing wrong and over the cap interest making them in breech of the agreement itself. Now I don't even know who actually owns or if there even is a note. Once I got "approved" initially for loan mod trial they then switched and switched making me late....then eventually foreclosing without ever notifying me directly and just telling me to ignore the letter because they are working with me and there are different departments that don't communicate to each other.
