Local Records Office Deed Scam Madison Wisconsin

Straight up scam to try and swindle $89 from new homeowners. Paperwork and name of "company" is designed to look like a legal document and those who don't read it carefully will assume the fee is part of the legal house closing. The actual address used to be some sort of notary service and now appears to be a UPS shipping center. The same paper they sent is actually used by the government to promote scam awareness.  This has nothing to do with house titles or deeds, at most what they would send you for $89 is a print-out of the public property information from any number of real estate sites. I will be forwarding to the Dane County DA.
