I am writing this report on the behalf of myself and my fiance'.  I went online to find a engine for my fiance's 1995 Honda Accord 2.7L which are very hard to find, I saw Low Mileage Parts under my google search so I proceeded to look up any responses against them there were none. I went on the website and proceeded to search for my engine found what I was looking for and I read all the small print .  First on the website it states "free shipping" that is a lie I paid $170.00 for shipping to my residents. When I received my engine the driver said " I can not back into that driveway" he proceeded to pull the engine out and was going to leave it there in the road, I had a neighbor to help us get it off of the truck, which the dirver did not have nothing to take it off the truck with.I called Low Mileage Parts as soon as I made the order and explained to them that I lived off the road and I asked would it be a problem for the truck to get into the turn and also did they have something to take the engine off the truck with. "Andrew" assured me that after paying the shipping cost it would be fine and yes they will take it off the truck for me. My mechanic started to work on my car a couple days later he looked at the engine and called me to tell me that we had a couple of problems: 1) Both wire harnessess was cut, 2) Water Pump was leaking, 3) The gooseneck was broken, and 4) the timing belt was in bad shape.

I immediately called them,I was on hold for about 35 minutes, finally a guy "Ted" answered the phone and I began to tell him what my mechanic relayed to me he began to say "well it says it in the warranty that none of those are included in the engine", I asked him about the 2" inch thick grease on the motor and where did it come from he said " I don't know why you asking me you have the engine in your possession". I asked him about the 30 day money back gurantee and he said "what are you sending back the engine is fine". I was asking him about my 5 year warranty and he rudely hit the hold button without saying please hold or anything, when he came back on the line I  asked him " Did you really just put me on hold without letting me know", he said to me " That was the man that signs my checks so yes I did". I asked to speak to the manager he told me he was the manager. I then asked him what was he going to do about the issues I have he stated, " nothing because there is not a issue, all those things that you named we assume when you place the order that you already have like a wire harness off of the old engine, and with the water pump and timing belt is what you change when you do a tune up". I let him know I did not have another wire harness I only had the body of the car and he stated" how was we to know that"  he then said, "what is a gooseneck I don't know what that is do you", I stated, " I am relaying to you what my mechanic told me". He then went on to say, " I didn't hold a gun to your head and make you purchase from us", I stated, " I purchased from you all thinking you  would take care of me but I see you all do not stand by your word".

I asked him "what did my $1300.00 go toward" and said, "your warranty" I told him that "I paid for a engine of good standings and now you tell me I bought a $1300.00 warranty" he said "Yes". Then he hung up on me and would not answer the phone after that. I looked at my paperwork that came with my engine which was from the shipping company the purchased the engine was from a third party auto salvage yard and they  had it shipped to me. If I wanted to do that I could have purchased it from the salvage yard myself I didnt need them to purchase it for me and take my money and then do not want to honor their guarantee. I will never deal with them ever again and hope no one gets jerked around like myself.
