Lowe's Lowe's warranty on hot water heater not suppoorted North Wilkesboro, NC 28656 Nationwide

Lowe's Whirlpool Hot Water residential  heater with warranty that is not supported. When the heater stopped providing hot water, called a local plumber to diagnose and the as required by Lowe's called their servcie number and was told they could do nothing without definitive proof of malfunction. Wirhout hot water, I had no choice but purchase a new one... not from them of course.  Thus thier warranty is bogus as it requires owner to call them and all one gest is a tutorial that says I have to test and define and prove malfunction.  Without ptoduct support, I feel scammed. I paid fopr a product taht Lowe's has implemented unique warranty that they refuse to service.
