Luminess Air Luminess Air LLC Misrepresentation of charges in infomercial / fraud Straford Texas

I ordered a Luminess Air makeup system for a special price of $19.99 on thier website after watching their infomercial on TV.

Later I got the order confirmation email, and noticed that 5 more payments og 59.99 will be charged everymonth, and some other additional charges as well.

It meant that the prodct would end up being $300+ in all.

It was not once mentioned during the infomercial that additional charges will be billed for next 5 months.

It may have appeared in some sort of disclaimer at the end of the infomercial.

I should heve been smarter and read thru all the policies while on thier website when I placed the order.

In my opinion it is a fraud.

I emailed them within 30 mins of placing order to cancel, and then the next day as well, no reply to either email except acknowledgements of both my emails.

I called and talked to Jazz on customer service helpline, she helped cancel the order.

I tried calling the customer order placement phone no right after discovering the additional charges, the gentleman there said it would not have happened if I had placed an order via an agent instead of the website, which is strange.

In my opinion, they shoud mention that in the sound byte recording during informercial that additional charges will be billed later every month for 5 months.

This type of misrepresentation to me is called fraud.
