I ordered two coats from Macys.com on 12/26/2005 to be delivered to me in New york where I live. The coats took slightly longer than usual to arrive but I waited. I than received a telephone call from my father who lives in another state that he received two womans coats delivered to him. Now my father is 90 years old and does not wear womans coats so I asked if he could possibly mail them to me because somehow Macy's messed up and sent them to him even though I bought and paid for them myself. ( I believe at one time I did send a gift to my father from macys, but that was at least a year ago).

I finally got the coats and found that they were too small, so I returned them to Macy's expecting a credit on my credit card. Instead I got another call from my father saying he NOW received a merchandise only gift certificate from Macys for $329.06 which was the amount I paid for my coats. That money was supposed to be taken off my credit card.

I called Macys.com and spoke to someone and they told me that they would cancel the gift certificate and credit my credit card that was 1/9/06. I called them back on 2/13/06 because I still did not receive a credit and was told that they would credit my account.

I called Macys.com again on 3/8/06 because I still did not receive credit. They PROMISED they would take care of it, I spoke to a supervisor who said she would call me back, NO ONE called me back. I again called them on 3/9/06 and spoke to another supervisor, she said I PROMISE I will take care of this and get back to you, she again never called be back.

On 3/14/06 I called AGAIN and was assured that I received a refund on 3/14 of course I did'nt receive anything except aggravation and lies, I called back on 3/28 and was told I was given credit on 3/24 NOW that is a week ago I checked with my credit card company today and there is STILL NO REFUND. I am tired of speaking to people who never do as they say, I am being charged interest on my credit card everyday for that money and I think that MACYS needs to get better customer service supervisors, the ones I spoke to do nothing and promise calls back but never follow up.

I want my refund of $329.06 plus the interest I am paying on my credit card for that amount! I am wondering if small claims court is an option now.
