Mad Dog Multimedia has cheated me out of $20.00 in the form or rebate fraud in the past. This happened about 2 years ago, and I was not able to get them to honor a rebate for a 16X DVD ROM. Now they are trying to steal from me again by not honoring a $30.00 rebate for a 450 Watt Power Supply. This time I will not let them walk away with my money! I did everything that the rebate required from registering both products to cutting out the UPC bar code on the box. I have been in contact with Karen McCauley, who is the Director of Marketing, but she has been absolutely no help since she has no authority. In fact they are making me jump through all kinds of loops.
I don't know Mad Dog uses shady rebate scams to steal money from their customers. I am currently looking into filing a class action lawsuit against Mad Dog Multimedia for rebate fraud. I don't understand why companies like Mad Dog are allowed to commit theft by rebate fraud and remain in business.
Do not buy Mad Dog products. They are a dishonest company!
