A sales rep. from Magnolia Graphics entered our business promoting advertisement opportunities inside a monthly planner. We pay half now and the rest once the product was delivered later that year befor december 2003.

They cashed our check changed dates on our order and told us that it was for the following year 2004. Now their phone numbers are changed and there's no way to get in touch with the company.

If any one could help us, as to what we can do please contact me by using the rebuttal box below.

EX EMPLOYEE THAT WAS CHEATED OUT OF ALOT OF MONEY!!

AUTHOR: Tammy - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 07, 2005

I worked for this so called company for about 3 months, and I can tell you, it changed my life... FOR THE WORSE!! I answered an ad in the newspaper for acct. executive. I worked in the areas of Greenville, Spartanburg, Maulin, Clemson, North Carolina... I was suppose to be reimbursed for gas, salary. My first couple of paychecks were fine, but I never got reimbursed for gas, which was about 50.00 a week, Had to go to a "meeting" in N.C. and stay in hotel, suppose to get reimbursed, never did, and then my paychecks came back NSF, they kept telling me that it was a banking error and it would be corrected well, guess what... They were fixing to sign a warrant on me since it was out of state I was responsible for it. I ended up having to come up with over 900.00 to keep from getting arrested. I went to my employment agency and they told me they showed this company had went out of business over a year before. I was able to get unemployment check (240.00 week) I was use to making 750.00 week on the job that i had before magnolia graphics, and with them(if I got paid) I did research and at the time they did not have a license to conduct business in sc with the secretary of state. I lost everything when this happened. My vehicle, I was evicted from my home, I suffered major depression....
I couldn't ever find anyone to help me get the over 3000.00 these people owed me, hopefully you have more luck....
I feel sorry for all of these companies who work hard to be successful and wasted their money on these fraudulent "advertisements"
I feel guilty for the ones I sold because I'm sure they never received anything.....

#2 UPDATE EX-employee responds

CONTACT INFORMATION Please contact the District Attorney's Office

AUTHOR: Ginger - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, March 04, 2005

Hello,
I am a former employee of Magnolia Grahpics in Grenada, MS. They shut the doors on the business the last week of August/2004. There were so many people that paid for advertisment in the weekly planners, but never received the products. About a month or two later, everything in the building was auctioned off.

The bank now owns the building and all that was left... including boxes of the weekly planners that had been printed and never delivered. Various lawsuits and investigations are being done right now. Please contact the District Attorney's Office in Grenada, MS. They are doing a thorough investigation at this time and need ALL the information they can get. You can contact Doug Evans, District Attorney @662-226-8545.

It's really ashame that we put so much hard work into the creation of these planners thinking that they would be delivered to the customers AS PROMISED... and then NOT. The only thing that we can do now is to tell the Distict Attorney's office what we know so they can continue to build their case. Good Luck.
Sincerely,
ANOTHER Former Magnolia Graphics Employee, Grenada, MS

I used to work for Magnolia Graphics until I found out more information about the company, I was only employed for about 3 months. I don't have any phone#'s for the company still but I have advised every person I know including authorities in my home town about Magnolia Graphics because they have done work in that town before. I would tell everyone about the company and just tell people to stay away, it is in deed a scam....I know for a fact !!!!
