Magnolia Graphics ripoff of employees- payroll checks returned NSF, not paying on schedule, BEWARE of help wanted ads all over MANY MORE Grenada Mississippi

I answered a Help Wanted Ad in the Anderson Independent Newspaper which is published in Anderson, S.C. for an Account Executive for established company.

The company was Magnolia Graphics, Inc. I live in Seneca, S.C. and worked for this company for 2 1/2 months. My very first paycheck was returned as NSF. The main office is "suppose" to be in MS.

Since this check was out of state, I was held responsible to pay for the check or go to jail. I contacted the company several times and they told me each time they would take care of it. They didn't.

They promised to reimburse me for my expenses such as gas because I was driving all over SC and NC. These were suppose to be mailed out every Tuesday.

After a month and half of working there and never receiving my reimbursements, I called and requested them to be sent to me. I recieved one for 26.06 a week later. (They owed me over $250.00 at this point)

I was getting deeper in debt working for this company and fearing my paychecks(the ones I did receive) would also be returned NSF. I quit and went to my local employment security commission.

They're records show the company is closed down. I started my own "investigation" I contact the South Carolina Secretary of State and they are not even registered with them to do business in S.C.

I contacted the NC Secretary of State and their Certificate of Authority was revoked on June 12,2003. I worked in Franklin, N.C. on August 19, 2003.

The employment security commission telephoned the company with the number that I have and they tried to say I did not have a NSF check until she let them know she had the letter in front of her.

She asked them if they were registered to conduct business in S.C. and they responded as "I don't Know".

Working for this company has put me deeper in debt, behind on all my bills, caused so much stress and aggrivation. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
They are currently running another ad in the paper for help wanted. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
They are supposedly all over 42 different states. This happened to me in little Seneca, S.C. so it could happen to you too.

PLEASE watch out for this company, and if you are a consumer and have done business with them and had problems please report it so this can be stopped!!!!
