I was contacted by Majestic Visa about an outstanding Fingerhut bill that was my ex-boyfriends but it was in my name. Majestic told me if I made payment of 30.00 a month when I had payed 376.00 of the bill they would pay the rest now I have done that and they sent me a Visa card with a balance of 328.00 on it that I now have to pay. Not only that but Jefferson and Fingerhut are both reporting on my credit report as unpaid balance.
Fingerhut still wants money I am not paying for this bill twice I am waiting to hear from AG office in Washington state

I had a balance of $1500.00 with aspire visa. I got a call from majestic saying ALMOST the same thing. They said if i made payments of $45 every month ontime than they would send me another credit card. Now, they didnt tell me if i paid the account off completly, that i would get the CC. they told me that once i got my balance down to a certian amount, thats when they would send me my CC. Well, i have done so. I just recieved my CC because i dropped my balance to $775.00. Since i did that, they gave me a credit on my account for $334.00.
My concern is this, after reading ALL the comments about majestic, I am a bit nervouse about what i just did. You mean to tell me that i just got my account down to under $400 that it will still say that my account is delinquent from Aspire???? Please tell me this isnt true!!
