They lie to all of their clients. Their conferences are terrible. Its all recycled out of date information that they steal from other conferences. The conference producers have zero knowledge of the topic/industry. They just learn about the conference subject 1 month before the conference goes live. Do not attend or sponser their confernces. They have a very bad reputation in the events world for a reason. They make last minute changes to their speakers panel, they always have low level speakers (managers) and they pretend that their speaker panel is only C level executives. Their confereces are very over priced, you can go to a much better conference for half the price. They have no cancellation policy and if something happens that you are not able to attend they will not give you a refund and good lucj getting a credit.
Bottom line is everyone who goes to their conferences regrets it. You pay thousands of dollars for no reason. You don learn anything and most of the time their conferences are not eligable for industry specifc continuing education courses. If they ever approach you to be a vendor or to sponsor the event, RUN. This is a total scam. Their is no reason to sponsor or be a vendor. No one has ever gotten any business from their meetings. You can do the same things just as a regular attendee. The vendor and sponsor rates are ridiculously high. There will be many other people there selling their services. They will lie to you and tell you that only a select few will be selling their services but dont beleive them. Marcus Evans has had many law suits filed against them. Their office in Toronto had to downsize to a smaller office that is less than half of the space of their original office because no one is attending their conferences anymore.
Im glad that people are catching on and realizing that this company is a total SCAM. Buyer Beware!
