Horrible experience, horrible therapists. The first massage was not bad so I signed up. I have moved, but they want me to pay three months of the membership that is late to cancel. Anyone out there know if they will actually send it to a collections agency if I refuse to pay? They won't except a letter stating I have moved and cancel my membership until I pay them $149 which I don't have right now. They have been rude and disrespectful. Also I am sure if they have the original signed agreement. I have asked for a copy, they say they have it and I am going to go pick it up in a few days. If they can't present a signed copy can I get out of the contract that way? If they send it to collections can I dispute it if they don't have the original signed copy?
Thanks
Angry at me

I doubt they would say you can pick up a copy of the signed contract if they didn't have it. You know you signed a contract and that it is 3 month contract.
Will they send it to collections? Yes. In this economy they are hurting just like everyone else. If you and 10 other people signed contracts, they come out ahead.
Go through your files, they would have given you the carbon copy of the contract. You signed it so it should have gone into a seven year file.
