Massage Green Spa They changed my hours and took my money Northville Michigan

I worked for massage green spa in Northville for 7 months. In the beginning everything seemed good. But then they were promising things they weren't going to give like a promotion. And they always wanted me to come in early and stay later without being clocked in. Then I gound myself doing all the same things a manager was doing but I was still just a receptionist getting low pay and they kept cutting my hours. My manager was working more than 50 hours a week and she was pregnant. So I started watching my checks and counting my hours and something wasn't adding up. I ended up going through my hours sheets and seeing that my hours were getting changed by upper management. Someone was taking hours off of my pay. I was owed a lot of money and when I brought it to their attention they ignored me. I sent the same email 5 times with no responses and then I threatened to get a lawyer over it and all of a sudden got a response. They said they'd give me my money and they did except it was less than half of what I said I was owed. I could not believe how I was being treated. If there were no employees they would have no business so how could they treat they're employees so horribly? The therapists I worked with were great people but they had as many issues with the company as I did. They were getting their hours taken away and they were getting paid almost nothing compared to the other massage parlors around. I'm not the only one this happened to, during the time I worked there I spoke to many other employees having the same issues as me. This company needs to treat its employees better or they need to be shut down.
