A nice lady named Karen shouse came by my house to check my blood pressure and check on my well being. Little did I know that she was coming out to try to gather information for the insurance company to denied claims for me relating to my back. About two weeks to a month after she came I started getting multiple calls from multiple companies about medical equipment and asking questions about my health. I don't know how they're legally able to disclose information about me and my help to third parties but to anyone out there do not let them come to your house they are not a legitimate helpful company like they pretend to be they are out to get money by any means possible!

They already had my insurance information. They also had a list of all medicines that I had been prescribed. I still have no idea how they receive this information. I have Humana insurance if they disclosed my information shame on them!

It is HIPAA not HIPPA. AND that law applies to those who share Medical Records information to anyone.
The effective compliance date of the Privacy Rule was April 14, 2003, with a one-year extension for certain "small plans". The HIPAA Privacy Rule regulates the use and disclosure of Protected Health Information (PHI) held by "covered entities" (generally, health care clearinghouses, employer sponsored health plans, health insurers, and medical service providers that engage in certain transactions.
IF you voluntarily gave her your insurance information then hey that is on you.
