Membership Services I've been ripped-off to the tune of $474.05 by Membership Services. A company I've never signed with. Hopkins, Minnesota

I recently discovered that my bank account was being charged by {Membership services} for some coupon service.  Showing on my bank account as "SEM VALUE PLUS" they were taking $24.95 a month. I called the number showing on my statement (1-800-475-1942, supposedly Membership Services). A customer service rep, Patricia said she would cancel my account and no further charges would be show on my statement.  She stated that she would send me a letter showing that my account had been cancelled and they would be sending me a letter.

I then asked for a refund.  She stated that she had no authority to send a refund.  She would send me a letter explaining how I could get my money back. 

I received the letter from SEM VALUE PLUS and in the letter they said they had cancelled my membership (of which I knew nothing about, as I had signed nothing) but since my grace time with the company had lapsed they would not be able to send me a refund.  By this time I was quite irate as she kept telling me I had to send in a second letter and they would playback a recording of myself getting the membership.

So now I am awaiting my forms and to listen to the so called recording, and will follow up on completing the next step in their process. I hope I get my refund and will do everything in my power to find out the truth about this company, put a stop to this scam and put them out of business.
