The Buxton Bag is NOT as advertised on t.v. or on the web. I do not believe it's leather... and I do belive it is poisoned with some sort of terrible terrible smelling dye or finish that made me very sick, sore throat, eyes burn, even my hands burned after handling the bag.
No paperwork other than the two-year limited warranty was enclosed in the package. Luckly for me (maybe) I kept the email showing receipt of my order.
Perhaps the note I received will help others in returning their Buxton Bag:
"I am sorry you will need to contact customer service to help you with this matter. They will be happy to assist you. You can contact customer service at 866-389-3774. Customer service hours start at 8:30 am till 10:00 pm EST."
Now, Monday (after Christmas) I will call this number and hope for a full refund and I will send the smelly bag back with a 'US Postal receipt requested'... wish me luck.
I am also very disappointed in Merchanice Direct for selling this junk!

OK.. guess I'm not TOO mad.. I did receive the $29.95 credit for the Buxton Bag!!! I lost the $10+ in receiving and returning shipping charges which, in my opinion, they should credit back since the bag wasn't as advertised. Good luck to everyone with their returns!

Per postal delivery receipt, the Buxton Bag that I returned was received Jan 5 at the above address... now, we wait and see!

Here it is Monday (after Christmas).. I called the Customer Service number above at 5:37 pm CST.. Dave answered, said he was sorry for my trouble and to send the bag back to 300 Return Road, Wallingford Ct 06493 with a note why I was returning the bag. I said "send it back on my dime and you don't reinburse me for the mail charge for this piece of junk" and Dave said "after we receive your bag back you may call us again and request your shipping charges be returned to" .. now that sounds like a RIP OFF to me? Shipping it out tomorrow.. return receipt requested!... more later.
