Midas Auto Service 301 W.Vine Kissimmee Beware!! One of the Worse Experience in my Life: Physically aggressive and dishonest Kissimmee Florida

I had one of the worse experiences of my life at this Midas.   

I went in for oil change and tire rotation.  After completing the job, I was told that the car was missing one of the front tire screws, and they could replace it for $90 dollars for labor.  Since I had personally just washed the car a few hours before including the rims and there was nothing wrong, the only way for missing the screw was if they had damaged it while trying to rotate the tires. 

When I made the claim, the owner's son who attends the counter, exploded with an emotional temper tantrum yelling and insulting me and my wife. This caused the intervention of Jose, the owner and father of the counter attendant, wisely admitted that all vehicles must be inspected and if something wrong was found, the car owner should be told before any work done.  Since this was not done, Jose agreed to replace and repair the screw. 

When I returned for the car, the owner's son exploded with another temper tantrum and for no reason threw my car keys on the counter, and started yelling insults and hitting the counter and walls with his punches.  He opened the door of the waiting room and almost pushed us out while yelling at us to get out and never come back.  We were intimidated and afraid that he would hit us once outside due to his emotional state and excessive aggressiveness.   Jose intervened again and apologized for his son's behavior, and reprimanded him for his behavior and told him that he could not treat customers that way.

This time the son took aim at his father, and in a very disrespectful manner keep on yelling that it was up to him to determine who they could service, and that we were not welcome at this Midas or any customer that he felt he should not service.  To his credit, Jose, the owner, clarified that anybody, irrespective of race or national origin, was welcome to his business, but got over yelled by the shouts of his son.  We felt that if Jose was not between his son and us, we would have been physically assaulted.    

Surprisingly, the special chrome nut (that can only be obtained from the dealer) was in place when my car was finally completed.  This implies that the nut and screw were with the car when it entered Midas, and proves that they either accidently damaged it, or intentionally removed it to charge more.       

I agree with other “yelps” comments; initially they refused to rotate the tires since it was included with a coupon.  The  attitude and service is really bad, and Jose the owner, seems to have a big problem with his son, who shows a very strong mental instability and is not fit to deal with people and work there. Make yourself a favor and never sponsor this store, not only you can get rippoff, but you can be physically assaulted.  

I will make a formal complain to Midas corporate Headquarters.
