You said they charged her 200.00 for a sparkplug and wire change , and you could have done it and saved her 300.00 . I'd be interested in one of those -100.00 tune-ups . Platinum plugs do list for 7.00 . And by the way, you just got that manager a raise .

ALL shops charge LIST price for parts, and the labor designated by the labor guide. And NO, Advance, AutoZone, OReilly, Kragen, etc do not charge LIST price to anyone. They all charge JOBBER. Look at a reciept from them...LIST price is on there to show you what a great deal you got on the price you pay. The muffler would have been covered by the warranty(lifetime), but not the pipe(s), clamp(s), hanger(s), labor, etc....just the muffler itself.
