Monarch Grand Vacations ripoff not given the promised prizes AFTER doing the 2 hour presentation!! screwed others too evil dirt bags fraudulent ripoff business Palm Springs California

I called Palm Canyon resort because I was buying a resale of a timeshare...I was told I could NOT under any circumstances see any of the property without doing the 2 hr presentation... I was not even going to stay at their property no less! I was told the place was key guarded

and I had to do the tour to see anything..i.e.pool,units,anything.. I complied and went grudgingly..I was NOT put up in the resort but at a small hotel 5 miles away that was okay but nothing like Palm Canyon... I was told I had to do this also...which I found out was a lie...the other lie was that I could have walked onto the grounds and looked around with NO TOURS!!

I finally sat down and told my sales rep who promptly got very angry and accused me of doing this to stay at their hotel for 2 nights when in fact I had planned beforehand to stay with family at the Marriott Desert Springs Resort which is way nicer...

I explained I told the rep who I spoke with on the phone that I only wanted to look because I was buying on the resale market...She then became even angrier with ME! I said look..I did not even want to do this-I was made to do it to look at the stupid pool and grounds!! Then she talked with a mgr. who told me I was LYING!! I was totally ticked by now and said ..fine I am done..

but then they would not allow me the certificate for the hotel my things were in and it took another 30 minutes before it was finally given to me and NONE of the other prizes were given even after I said what about the other stuff..seems I did not "qualify" because I was not buying from them!!! Since I was buying on the resale market I was out of luck...

Even though I earn in excess of 100k I was the villan here...I have since found many resales for II properties at less than 1/3 the "retail" price I was given at the presentation...so my advice if you are reading this is DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOKS!! BUY ON THE RESALE MARKET if you want timeshare time...good luck..
