Mookie Gifts charged my credit card within 24 hours of my placing an order. When I tried to check the status of my order, as they suggest you do, all it gave me was the same e-mail it sent me as a confirmation. After calling the phone listed at their website and always getting a mechanical message saying they can't take my call and try again later I called my credit card company.
The credit card company was able to give me a different number to call and the woman that answered wanted to know how I got her home number. She assured me she had sent the item and would resend it. She even went so far as to ask me to send back the original shipment if it ever arrived. I never recieved my item.
She now no longer answers the phone number my credit card company gave me and is not responding to any of my e-mails. She has not returned the money to my credit card either. I guess I should just be thankful it was only a $20 order. I am having my credit card company issue me a new card. October/November 2007.

I did recieve the item I ordered, but not until after having my credit card refund my money and filiing my initial report with Ripoff Report. I was glad to get the item as it is hard to find, but would not do business with this company again. I believe I only recieved the item due to my corrective actions. The information D&S Giftware/Mookie Gifts gave as a rebuttal is false. My credit card was charged initially on 10/8/07. When I finally recieved my item on 11/07/07 I called my credit card company back and said that I had recieved my item and would pay the bill. D&S Giftware/Mookie Gifts is reporting the day they billed me falsely. I was billed the day I called my credit card company as a moral individual and asked them to re-bill me on 11/07/07. If they tried to bill me again on 11/04/07, I am fortunate that my credit card company did not pay them. I have looked at my credit card statement to verify all of this information.
