I purchased a Coolster XS 110cc ATV from Motobuys. I was told it would arrive within 2 weeks. That didn't happen. I had to call and email several times to finally get the tracking info. When ATV finally arrived it wouldn't start. After I finally got it started it was spitting out dark smoke and oil from the exhaust pipe. After driving it for a short period of time it fouled out the spark plug. I contacted Motobuys. I explained that I had just purchased this ATV and that it had arrived in this condition. They stated that they would mail me parts but I would have to make the repairs myself. I thought that was unreasonable because it had arrived unusable. They mailed out a gasket set. I had to disassemble the engine and replace gaskets. Of course, that did not fix the problem. I was then instructed to remove the engine, package it and mail it back to them. I did this. I waited a month. I had to call and email several times before they made the "repairs" and shipped it back to me. I installed the engine. Of course, it was still blowing smoke and oil out of the exhaust. I have put 3 spark plugs in it to keep it running because my son really wants to ride it. I contacted Motobuys again a few days ago. I was told that the mechanic from Coolster that worked on my engine would contact me. I haven't received a phone call or email from Coolster. Their customer service rep is very argumentative, they act like you are bothering them when you call with questions or complaints. This entire situation has been a nightmare. My advice would be to spend a little bit more and purchase from your local ATV dealer.

We are very sorry that this customer has had issues with his kids quad. The warranty is handled by Coolster the maker of the quad. The ATV's are checked and shipped direct from the factory. Motobuys never touched this customers unit directly. The issue here is a factory warranty issue. The customer sent the engine back to coolster and they repaired his unit free of charge and returned it to him. The engine was tested and run before it was returned.
Customer has been informed that he can pack up the atv and return it to coolster for a refund if wishes to. But again this issue is really a Coolster factory issue.
