MP3Downloading.com Fraudulent use of credit card , ripoff Internet
*Consumer Comment: Investigate some more Mike
*Consumer Comment: Tom, Did you forget to read?
Accidently, I joined mp3downloading - I mistook it for a recommended music download site. Was not too concerned as the site said it would only take a max of GBP 3.00 - so I I thought 'not much to lose'.
Next morning I discovered my CC had been billed over GBP 30.00. And the site has no address, no email address and the contact phone number just gets BT (you have dialled the wrong number message).
This is a scam OK - but what can people do about it?
Best regards,
Tom

Your comment does not reflect my experience.
Why don't MP3downloading provide an email address? Why is their phone number (in T&C) invalid?
Why did I spend a whole day trying to get through to this outfit without any success?
Why do you get heaps and heaps of similar complaints if you do an internet search on them?
Why are you supporting a company which has such bad practice?

Tom,
I just went to the site to check out the validity of your complaint, and as usual, the customer is incorrect.
Had you read correctly, it says annual plan / just $3 something per month.
You paid the entire year up front.
Next time read before you post crud about a company.
