Apparently MRS is a legitimate debt collector - however, they tend (like all the other bottom feeders such as these) to attempt to collect from anyone with the same, similar or perhaps not to similar name! I just qualified for a mortgage of over half a mill, and have perfect credit. Yet for the past two weeks I've been HARRASSED by MRS Associates who claim they are collecting an MBNA credit card debt of over $15K. NOT ME. We've had two phone conversations during which we haggle over how they think it's me, but I know it is not. They are programmed to not believe people and to try to intimidate. If you know it's not you, tell them to give it their best shot and see who's right.

They're bottom feeders - if you are not the debtor do not send them a dime. SCUM!
