MRS Associates ripoff Would not stop calling wrong number Cherry Hill New Jersey

MRS called me out of the blue for no apparent reason to collect debt for someone else I don't know.

I was connected via some automated service to one of their representatives who behaved like I had just called them, when in fact I had received a call to my cell from a private/unknown number.

I explained to them that I was not the person that they were looking for and they asked for my number to remove it from the list and then hung up.

But I wouldn't be reporting this here if it had stopped there.

This happened again a few days later. I told them to take my number off their list, they claimed to and then hung up.

Then a third time a few days after that. I was pretty irate at this point because I've been getting calls in the middle of meetings that are "private" or "unknown" and are certainly this collection agency. This time I made absolutely certain that they removed my number. Again they claimed that they did and hung up.

They called me AGAIN today. This time the lady assured me that there was "some other place in the computer" where she took my number out this time.

Having had enough of this misguided harassment I made sure to get contact information about this company so I could pursue legal action if their harassment did not stop.

I read a couple of other reports about this company and they all seemed to be about excessive rude behavior. I have to admit that they were fairly courteous towards me, but the fact remains that they would not stop calling me after being told on three separate occasions that I was not the person they were looking for.
