Mullooly, Jeffrey, Rooney & Flynn What is going on? How can I owe $3,000 to someone I've never heard of? Syosset New York

What is going on? Today I tried to get an apartment and when they ran my credit they told me they saw something very suspicious and I needed to look into it. So I looked and somehow I owe these Mullooly, Jeffrey, Rooney and Flynn guys over $3000. Somehow they bought some debt from a company I've never heard of in a city I've never lived in for $864 in 2003.

In February 2009 the amount jumped to over $3000 dollars and has completely trashed my credit. There is also something from Bank of America at the same time, and I have never in my life had any dealings whatsoever with them. All this is happening in upstate New York, where I only lived very briefly, never dealing once with Mullooly or Bank of America.

Also I never heard of any of this until today, and I don't understand how I can owe someone $3000 since 2003 and not hear one thing about it until 2009. On top of it all I can't get in touch with anyone in their offices, and they aren't returning my calls. If anyone has experience with these guys or can help in any way please, please help. I'm very worried about this and kind of freaking out, and I have no idea what to do.
