I discovered on 9/8/14 that on 9/2/14 My Heritage.com had charged my debit card the amount of 119.40 for unauthorized services.

The email account My Heritage used was one that has been inactive for approx 4 years. I have never paid one cent to My Heritage nor have I upgraded at all. I did go to the website which shows in red letters that my email account is invalid.

I contacted My Heritage on 9/8/14 via "contact us" on their website. I was quite pleased with the response with a reference number for my particular situation. However. that is as far as My Heritage has gone. I sent a follow up email this a.m. and received a duplicate response from yesterday.

I will let you know if My Heritage is reputable or not. I understand inadvertent errors and I anxiously await their refund.
