NAFS National Action Financial Services violated the fair debt collection practices act Ripoff India

While trying to settle the account, on 3/27 i spoke to a sup named Sarah who told me she would escalate my suggested pay-off amt to the settlement dept. She told me it would take 1 to 2 days to get results. one hour after the call a rep named joseph called and harrassed my wife to pay the full bal. my wife directed him to the notes on the acct and he was very unprofessional trying to force my wife to pay 10,XXX and atempting to annoy her (Harassment/abuse) On 3/28/06 i spk with Vince mcDonald and asked him several times for the name of his company he repeated GMAC i told him they are not GMAC and i wanted his companies offical name, he still stated GMAC. I later found out from GMAC that the name of the company is NAFS (false or misleading representations). Also I'm not sure if these are thier real names. when asked where they are located by my wife Sarah said india. All the reps i had to deal with are David Allen, who is also Greg Allen a rep/suporvisor Vince Mc Donald a settlement manager and Sarah a floor Supervisor and joseph a floor rep. these names other that Sarah 7 joseph are not traditional india 1st and last names. I feel like they are misrepresenting who they are and for this company to have all my information is very scary.
