National Check Control Scam Check Collection Secaucus New Jersey

This company has unethical collection practices. I received a letter in the mail today stating that criminal charges would be brought up against me for a check I allegedly wrote Verizon Wireless.

I contacted the CA because I had never done business with Verizon Wireless. I spoke to some very rude individuals and I requested a copy of the check be sent to me. They said they didn't do that and they would see me in court and then hung up on me.

I then called back and asked to speak with a supervisor I was transferred to a Mr. William Parker who started ridiculing me and calling me stupid. He then said if I didn't wire the money today that I would be arrested. I said that wasn't going to happen and he said "don't bend over for the soap" and hung up on me.

By this time I was angry so I filed complaints with the Attorney General of the State of NJ, The FTC, The BBB, and the USPS since contacting me through mail constitutes mail fraud.

I then contacted my district attorney and asked to be advised of my rights. They stated that this company could not file charges against me because they are 3rd party. They also went further to state that even if charges are filed that I would be given 14 days to make good on this debt.

MY next phone call was to Verizon Wireless who had no record of having me a customer nor have they ever heard of this National Check Control Company. After that I did research and found that there is a class action suit against them http://www.ademilaw.com/consumer.php I would advise anyone contacted by this company to contact the proper authorities as they are not a legitimate law abiding collection agent.
