I have read all the reports on "RipOff" Reports today starting with 2001 to the final report on Nov 2010 regarding National Magazine Exchange (NME) & all the many other names this company utilizes to pull of it's scams.

I have experienced almost everything that all the other people reporting this company has. Then I decided to do some more research on said company in hopes of MAYBE finding something I have not already tried in getting my money back (haha, right; I really got burned by NME) anyway it looks like our Federal government's former & possible current employees have/has ties with a company that purchased NME in 2007 & here it is:

Cerberus Capatial Management, L.P. one of the largest " Private Equity" investimate firms in the USA & is locatedat 299 PARK Ave in NY City. It is run by 50 year old financier Steve Feinberg. Former U.S. Vice President DAN QUAYLEhas been & is a spokesperson for this company & Dan runs one of it's prominent international units.

Could this be in any way a reason I can't get the CEO (Dennis A. Cahill) of NME to reply to my letter(s) & provide me with my requested refund?!

I have called the 36 different phone numbers that the BBB has on file for this corporation & I either get a busy signial, an answering machine or a person who is trained to do nothing but give excuses& side-tracking tactics to the point that you end up giving up because you are so worn out trying to get what is due to you back.

This brings me to my point & questions for all; Has anyone ever received their money back from this company? Does anyone know of a class action suit against them? I would appreciate any information from anyone that has had success in this task.

I can't believe that the USA allows a company to treat it's citizens in the terrible way's this company does & to RIPOFF it's citizens with the terrible scams they pull. I was raised to beleive that if you were an honest person & when wronged to appropriately with respect hold the other party accountable. I was also taught that in the USA that the agencies that had been created to help it's citizens to do the same; WOULD! Where are all the AG's in this? Where is the Postal Service in this?

I guess they all never had to work an honest days work for honest pay so, they cannot relate to those of us who have & do (those of us lucky enough to still have a job).

Thanks everyone.

Take them to small claims court

At least you will then get your money back. It sounds like you have all of your documentation. If you can show damages, you might even be able to get more than what you paid (longshot).
