Based on Telephone solicitation, I signed up for membership of this association. At the time of signing, $99.95 was debited from my bank account. After receiving and studying the welcome package, I decided that the services provided wer not a good fit for me at that time so I sent the packet back with a letter of cancellation. According to the USPS confirmation, the package was received on November 16th. On November 18,2005, a letter was written from NSBA advising that my membership had been cancelled and that my refund would be processed within 30 days.

On November 23, another $238.40 was illegally taken from my account after I had cancelled. Since then, It has been a tug of war to get my money refunded. Anytime I called the company, it takes no less than 15 minutes before I get to talk to an actual person and what they all say is that my refund would be processed after 30 business days.

I contacted the company two days ago and advised that it has been over 30 business days and I wanted my refund. The account representative advised me that the whole account department was on vacation for two weeks. I found that strange and contacted the DC's Attorney-General's office where I learned that the business only has a DC address but operated from Palm Springs California.

If the company goes to such length to cover where they operate from, it stands to reason that the company exists solely to rip off unsuspecting victims.

MOVED TO CA

AUTHOR: Dennis - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 17, 2006

Toks,

When I started the company my plan was to move to DC. Just before making the move I visited Palm Springs and fell in love with the area and decided to move there instead. There was no evil plan, it is easy to find me, I personally answer all complaints. I don't hide.

I can't find you in my database, please provide your member ID number.
