They were still making money off of me with the labor on the work order.Needless to say,they don't allow employees to service their own vehicles for some reason that's beyond me.Even though i worked on the district managers yellow classic mustang a couple weeks ago without even a work order and that was not a problem. I suppose the ADM does not have to follow company policies!!!!!!!!
All i was wanting was the brake pads installed but when i checked on the uncertified technician performing the work,he was attempting to turn my brake rotors without my permission and it was also not on the work order to turn the rotors,just install the brake pads.
With this being said,I had been having problems with my store manager and one other associate stealing my sales,taking customers after i introduce myself to assist them and dealing with the store manager cursing,yelling and arguing with associates and customers on numerous occasions.
Just recently,i had a sales associate yell at me in front of my technicians and continued until the store manager physically removed him from the shop.He then tried to say i grabbed him.There are cameras installed at this location,so the cameras told the real truth.
I called the hear line which is supposed to be for company associates with internal concerns not resolved by your local management. I then received a call from the human resources manager which
hung up on me after being totally rude to me and not wanting to hear the whole story.He stated that what i did by purchasing my own parts is a zero tolerance offense and that's that!!
The bottom line is because i would not go along with thieving associates, crooked company policies taking money from me and not allowing insubordination as the service manager,i was terminated!!
This store at 1670 northeast expressway in Atlanta is being run by mostly crooked management that will argue with their customers and associates in front of other customers.They also always gave me the customers that had issues with their work performed wrong just so they would not loose money with their own commission pay.
Not only was i the top service manager in the district in just 3 months of employment because of being honest with my customers,i had the respect of my technicians because i did not yell and curse at them daily like the store manager was doing when i started.
If this store is any indication of how they implement company policies,then i would never want this company to work on a wagon for me!!! 99 percent of the mechanics are not ASE certified to work on any system of your automobile and the sales associates have no clue of what they are attempting to sale you or why you need it,so you are just rolling the dice by going to this shop now that they decided to fire a true service manager that is not only ASE certified in every area of work that we performed there,but could physically go behind the mechanics and verify a proper fix to your vehicle.
Retaliation by termination on a whistle blower like myself is totally wrong when my actions were in the best interest of the customer and my family.
By the way,this all started when the company hired me as the service manager and paid me as a mechanic for two months before they tried correcting my pay which they still owe me money.I had to call the hear line about this problem also so needless to say this HEAR line knows me by voice i'm sure!
