National Tire And Battery NTB Defective tires Raleigh, North Carolina

Purchased tire from NTB $170.00 developed a bump in the side wall of tire which could possible blow out (unsafe). They would not replace tire. Said it was a pinch in side wall from hitting a pothole. I asked how can you be sure it was a pot hole damage. He said because of discoloration in tire. I can see pretty good, it looked all the same color to me BLACK.

 They tried to say the bent rim was proof of it hitting a pot hole. Two problems with that.#1 The rim was bent before that tire was installed and #2 the rim bent on inside of tire but the pinch was on outside. He told me the bend and the pinch were lined up with each other, but he told me after the tire was removed, so I had to take his honest word. Yea Right.

I will never spend another dollar at any company associated with NTB and tell everyone I know to beware especially the one on 5400  capital BLVD. in Raleigh NC

Seams like you could get better service with a almost $200 purchase.
