Nationwide C.s. work at home ripoff, scam, just plain fraudulent Las Vegas Nevada

I was looking for job and I came across this opportunity... or so i thought. I called the number listed and left my information with the automated answering machine or something of that sort.

Within a few days, I received a letter describing what the job will be about and what I needed to do to get started. After reading through the letter, I sent out a check for $38 which was to cover the materials but they also stated that it would be fully refunded after they receive the first 100 envelopes. That was in july 2004.

It's november 1 today and still no response from the company. I guess they are quick and efficient in collecting money but slow in dealing with people. Anyways I am trying to get my money back from them. I am a full time college student and thought that I might use the money I make from working for them to pay my tuition this semester which is still unpaid.
