NCO Financial Services She Sounded like a Jerry Springer Guest Horsham Pennsylvania

I recently took over my elderly MIL's bills as she has become incapable of managing her finances. The first thing I did was to call NCO to make alternative payment arrangements. I told the rep to discontinue the auto drafts of $125 that we would have to send in payments, when the funds were available. This individual was professional, explaining that the 28% interest would be added onto the account but I would have to confirm the modification with her supervisor. The transfer to the supervisor is where the fun began.
From the moment she picked up the call, her manner was very rude & abrupt. She yelled at me for cancelling the auto pay. I explained to her that my MIL was incapable of handling her finances, between her light bill & Capital 1, the light bill wins. She screamed at me that she was paying her other billsand she has enough money to pay them why can't she pay this one? I told her that if she checked, she would see that the latest check was returned for NSF. I also said that her bullying technique may work on some people, but it's not going to work on me. She then told me to SHUT UP & LISTEN that she has a copy of her credit report & it shows she's been paying her bills on time. I then lost it told her that I don't give a rat's A** what she's looking at, she's a bold face liar. Her exact words were You're real charming and I called her a b*tch who is getting no $$ for this account & hung up.
The next day my MIL received a call from someone else @NCO. Apparently, the account was transferred to another collector, someone who knew how to talk to people. We again declined to settle the account as there is no money. The phone calls have stopped.
