Nebraska Furniture Mart Bait and Switch! I'll never darken their door again! ripoff Kansas City Kansas

My husband and I went to Nebraska Furniture Mart to price compare a new refrigerator. In their floor model clearance section we found what we thought was the perfect fridge for us and the price was great as this was basically a brand new unit. We paid for them to deliver it and two days latter they were at our door.

I didn't open the doors on the fridge until after the delivery guys had already left and it wasn't the same unit!!! It was used and still dirty!!! I called immediately and they started stammereing on about how they couldn't "find" my original unit and how they just didn't know what had happened. They did credit back $156.00 if I would agree to keep it. I did as it still had all the factory warranties intact and the original price was about $1100 and I was getting this one for about half with the credit. BUT I feel that because I live an hour away they felt they could dump a used fridge on me and sell the other one to someone else. Bait and switch. I'll never shop there again and as I've told this story to numerous people they have told me all kinds of horror stories involving this company. AVOID!
