This company could be a great place to work and shop but due to a d****e bag of a store director and 2-3 general managers that are the worst ever it is a hell hole to work in.  All they care about is sales numbers--to the point that they demand that no matter the economy and how much traffic is in the stores does not matter to them.

Then on top of that they flood the floor with way too many salespeople as to make it very difficult to sell enough to make a decent living.  And paying less than 2% commision on top of that. 

When they hire you they tell you that you can average approx 45-55000 per year.  BS.  And every department has add-ons to sell--extended warrenty-fab and leather protection etc.  Now some of these have a benefit to the customer but mostly not.  They do pay 15% commision on these so what does that tell you.

One of the worst things is to deal with the monster they have created over the last 75 years--the customer that knows if they want a better price--free del--whatever they can go to customer service and scream loud enough and long enough and they get what they want.

I never had a problem getting off due to illness or the weather but I know several that did.  But miss your numbers and all hell breaks loose.  The managers are very threatening and demeaning to almost all employees and they have signs up all over the place saying we have integerity and honesty which is the biggest load of crap.

They force the salespeople to bacically steal from each other.  They expect perfection to the point that if you do make 1 mistake they take your order away so you get paid nothing for your hard work.

Let me ask this --has every manager from lowest to the top and including Ron b. and Irv b. ever made a mistake....hummmm  They all spend 90% of their time trying to find a way to take your commiision away.  It cuts the overhead.  

With all of this screwing employees going on they give you no vaseline.
