I set up an appointment with Network International of Beverly Hills. They told me to bring a picture and heels. I came in early which surprised them, I call it being professional. A lady showed me around while I was waiting. They had this whole thing about a convention in New York. It was a week long event that required alot of training. Many scouts are supposed to be there. I never heard of this, and wasn't very enthused.

My first visit, they gave me a sheet to fill out. I went into a room and talked with the "New Face Director". She made me do a runway walk and commercial. None of it seemed like a scam. She then told me to call back the number the next day to see if I was accepted or not. I called and indeed I was.

My next appointment, I brought all of my pictures(I already had done), but they said they wanted some more looks. I had to either pay one payment of $250, two payments of $150 or three payments of $100 for a two-look photo shoot. They had all of their zed cards on the wall. The photos looked very unprofessional. The tinting was all off, so many of the girl's faces looked green! I asked why they couldn't just use the ones I already had, but they just kept on persisting that it would be better if they did some for me. I also asked if height mattered in modeling. I'm pretty tall, but I was just curious to what they would say. They told me that one of their female models, that was 5'3", did alot of runway. Hmmm. . . . most serious modeling agencies only do runway way for women that are atleast 5'6".

I eventually stopped seeing them. I do not believe that agency can get anyone good work. They only offer cheap, bad-looking pictures.

#1 Consumer Suggestion

Network International is the one and the same outfit here in Scottsdale, AZ

AUTHOR: Ken - (U.S.A.)

Review other reports on this company at this fantastic web site as a resource and you will find a nice trail of unhappy customers. I am surprised to find more entries regarding this same modeling company and would of hoped it dropped off the face of the earth by now.

My recommendations are use your brain (appears you did that), and hire your own photographer and make-up to get very professional quality, high resolution images of yourself to use in a paper portfolio (and on the Internet). The best practice in being a model is getting your pictures taken. There are plenty of photographers locally that are willing to provide images in exchange for you to appear in their own portfolio.

This company, Network International and others like it are prospering off of the consumer not the agencies. That isn't how a talent agency works at all. I have yet to see a list or even one name of a successful model or actor that was endorsed by this outfit.
