Here is the email that I sent to netzero with my complaint. They keep telling me gift certificates are not refundable... But if you scroll to the bottom of netzero's giftcertificate Terms and Conditions there is a list of 5 exceptions on refunds and expiration dates and there in print on there own website it says gift certificates are refundable in california it's the 4th one down But heres my letter to them......

I recieved a phone call on 9-01-05 from someone in billing about a gift certificate that i had redeemed but not given credit for and I want a refund on. I am so tired of hearing they are not refundable, But as I stated
to the man that called according to the Terms And Conditions that I read ( He wanted to know where I read this) I told him I would send an email to billing of
the location it was at. if you scroll to the bottom of the page it states in FINE SMALL PRINT ...THE 5 items below which #4 covers my Gift Certificate that you ripped me off of. And if they are not refundable why do I have a check from NetZero-Department CRM in Woodland,CA. for a partial refund on the first Gift Certificate I redeemed to start my account in the first place. I do know that I have every bit of proof on my end that you owe me a refund of $20.00 for my second Gift Certificate that you applied to a canceled account that I never canceled to begin with. which brings up anot! her really puzzleing item and that is why would you apply money to a canceled account in the first place it seems like something should have poped up or sent to my email that stated this. But no the certificate just dissappeared no credit to my account no credit of the certificate to me in any way. I truely want a response to this proof... NO I JUST WANT BACK WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY MINE... YOUR NOTHING BUT A BIG BAND OF THIEFS
