I answered multiple craigslist ads trying to see rental properties on my day off from work. Every time I called I was diverted to a property management company, with a rep saying that the rental property had been foreclosed upon and to stop foreclosure the owners were using their service to try to rent out the property to make mortgage payments.

The rep assured me that as son as my account was created with them I could start seeing properties THAT DAY, and that I would get the information I needed about the rental properties THAT DAY. I didn't hear anything from anyone at the company.

I called the number back and asked what was going on, they said that they only were responsible for account-setup over the phone and that I had to contact their suport center in San Francisco for all other questions.

After waiting on hold for almost an hour, I finally got a man on the phone who confirmed with me in plain language that the first phone rep had lied flat out about their services. I told him I wanted to immediately cancel the membership. He told me to email the support center and they would send me the forms.

After numerous angry emails, I would only get pre-generated emails that didn't address the issue, with maybe a sentence having to do with what I was asking for. I finally got them to attach the cancellation form to an email.

I filled out the form, emailed it back to suport services, and expressed my wish to have  the service cancelled IMMEDIATELY. I received an email back claiming that "they can't open email attachments at that location." They told me I had to fax it in.

I faxed the form in, the transmission was confirmed.

Now, I just was notified that I am still being charged a $40 monthly fee for the service I supposedly canceled. I emailed the support center again, but from what I'm reading online, this place is a total fraud. I am a broke student on loans and this is complete B.S. for them to prey on people like they do.

I wish I had taken the time to look them up. I was in an emergency situation and had little time to see properties, so I made a bad decision. Hopefully this will help someone out, and hopefully I can somehow get my money back.
