I received a binding quote from Leonard Sorvillo from North American Master Lines on 26 Aprril 2013.  On 17 June 2013 the packers arrived, four men from Maldovia, and only Alexsey spoke english.  All they had to do was load some furniture and about 100 boxes from our two bedroom apartment.  At 6:30 PM Alexsey came to me and said they filled the truck and he must get another truck.  He left with about 95 percent of my furniture without my permission.  He came back about 8:00 PM and the four men loaded the rest of my belongings that were in the parking lot.  At 8:30 Alexzey came to me with his three thugs and said I must pay $10,000 to get my furniture.  I disagreed but he then said he would settle for a flat rate of $7,000 but I had to choose one to get my furniture.  Now I have paid $3,800 and they are not delivering my furniture.  At one point tne boss in Florida demanded a postal money order of $7,000 sent before he releases the furniture.  We believe they stole the furniture and took our money.

Got a Baltimore, MD news reporter to assist in going into the storage warehouse where my furniture was held.  The News crew started filming and about 10 employees ran out the door covering their faces.  One person who seemed in charge called the office in Hallandale Beach, Florida.  I talked with that office and they agreed to email me a paid in full signed letter for the $3,800 they already received if we left with the news reporter.

We got the letter but the company refused to give us our property unless we paid the $7,000.  We called the police and an officer came and told the company they should deliver our property since we had a paid in full receipt.  He told us privately that he could not force them to give us our proiperty because it was a civil matter.  But the company got nervous and got a lawyer to talk to the news reporter.  An agreement was made to deliver our furniture to our new residence without increasing the costs above the $3,800. They also wanted us to agree not to go forward with the news report or discuss this incident with any other athorities or news shows.

Furniture was delivered the next day.  The news shows aired on local TV the next day.
