North Star Financial called and said there was a credit card with a credit limit of $2000.00 and 0% interest with the intial payment of $199.00. They gave me the customer service 866 number and there web site address to prove that they were a lagit Co. after feeling satisfied and knowing that a lot of credit card companies now do this I went ahead and did a check by phone and made an account for my husband payment to be made on Oct.4th.
I soon had learned that the took a payment on Sept.25, I called and told them of the error and did a stop payment through them for Oct.4th payment until the error had been corrected. I soon found out not only did they take the payments on Sept.23,Sept.25th,they also took another on Oct.4th and had cost me $220.00 in overdrafts. I called and had faxed copies of bank statements on Oct.17th I received a credit for $199.00, I called because this was not the right amount they said that they could not reimburse the $398.00 because the credit cards had already been sent and that I would have to go to the bank and tell them of the overdrafts,they said that they would reimburse me for them due to it not being my fault(wrong again).
I called in Dec and one of there employees told me they were a member of the BBB and I had to take the matter up with them, so I did filed a complaint on Dec.12th.
Dec.13th talked to Pat ext.#210 told him of the complaint sorry for the incovenince CHECKS IN THE MAIL! overnight express.
On Dec.19th there faxing a copy of the check. NO CHECK

I have a list of names North Star Financial is going by, several different names, phone numbers, and address's.
Northstar Financial, North Star Financial, TSCardBenefits,
1st American Leisure Cards, Tele Straregies,Inc.;
American Financial.

There is a company called 1st American Leisure Cards out of Flordia, but I can not connect this Company with the rest of them be extremly careful because they probably changed there name again.

How to get your money back from North Star Financial

I have recently received part of my money back from this Co. it was very time consumming but it is working for me.
I had faxed the company several bank statements proving that they owed this money, after not receiving anything they had told me I would I contacted and filed a report with the better business bureau and faxed a copy of the complaint to them,this got their attension but with no results. I had told them they had better get me my money or I was going to place a complaint with every agency I could find, still no results. Then I placed a complaint with the Bad Business Bureau and faxed a copy of that complaint this had them calling me, but still no results.
I then placed a complaint with the Att. Genral of Phoenix and faxed a copy of that(this had them nerviouse)but no results when
I faxed a copy of the complaint I placed with the Federal Bureau of Investaions on credit fraud I received a check for $199 from them and there now going by the name of Tele Strategies,Inc.
According to my research this company has several different names and if I can find them all I will put them on here.
