  • Nsite 4737 County Road 101 #200 Minnetonka, Minnesota U.S.A.

Nsite is a fraudulent mystery shopper, secret shopper company. They do not pay or reimburse their shoppers, as stated. They send shoppers to locations, companies who have not yet hired them or requested their services, then do not reimburse the people who shopped for them, after promising to pay a fee of $200 and reimburse for the meal they purchased. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint. Minnetonka Minnesota

I learned of Nsite Inc. through a legitimate company that recommends mystery shopping companies (Redacted). I'd heard mystery shopping could be a fun way to make some extra money if you have a flexible schedule, so I made sure to use a legitimate site to recommend some mystery shopping companies.

Turns out, Nsite Inc is NOT legitimate. NSite Inc is a one-man shop, run by a scam artist. I registered with them, was assigned a mystery shop at an expensive downtown Chicago restaurant, with a guaranteed reimbursement of up to $150 for the dinner, plus a nomimal fee for performing the shop itself. I made a reservation for dinner, as instructed, showed up for dinner, took copious notes throughout the entire 2 hour experience, as instructed (the mystery shop required details such as what the sidewalk outside looked like, if there were smudges on the windows, the exact decor on the walls, the temperature of the restaurant, who greeted us at the host stand, how long each process took - water refills, entrees being delivered, what the server asked, how many times he checked back & exactly what times,etc.). I followed the instructions given to me to a "t", recording every step along the way so I could report back and give details about my experience - which had to be done within 24 hours. I did all of these things, only to receive an email from the owner of Nsite Inc (Robert Countryman), saying "I cannot pay you or reimburse you for this, you went to the wrong restaurant."

I disputed this with the owner, providing proof and emails saying I did everything I was instructed to, and that I spent $111.78 on dinner at a restaurant i NEVER would have normally gone to. I also faxed a receipt showing the name of the restaurant and the EXACT address I was supposed to go to. He still said he's not reimbursing me or paying me, period. I then called the restaurant itself and wanted to be sure they knew exactly what kind of company they hired to mystery shop for them.

After speaking with the general manager, who assured me they NEVER hire mystery shoppers and are not a client of Nsite Inc and never had been, but instead they were approached on a regular basis by them offering their services and attempting to have the restaurant sign a contract, saying "we recently sent an unsolicited mystery shopper to your location. If you would like to see the results of our visit, it will cost you $XXX." I realized Nsite Inc was trying to weasel out of paying me because that restaurant was actually not a client of theirs. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about NSite Inc, detailing this information, and have also contacted volition.com and forwarded every email I have detailing this account as proof of the fraudulent nature of NSite Inc's business practices. Do NOT mystery shop for Nsite Inc, as you will likely not be reimbursed for your trouble or paid for your time, as promised. Save yourself the $111.78 (at least in my case), and don't waste your time dealing with this fraudulent operation. There are plenty of legitmate mystery shopping companies out there, so no need to waste your time with this one-man-rip-off-show.

To be fair, I have been paid by this person a number of times and have completed a number of shops for him and someone else that works for him Jen ( I think it's a "2 man show"). This is a legit company

However, I would agree that I have never dealt with another owner or scheduler who is as rude and unprofessional as Robert. I have been scheduled to a incorrect location and not told all the details that caused my shop to be rejected. I would suggest not doing these shops as there is a good chance you won't get reimbursed and it is not worth the small nominal fee you get paid to deal with Robert.

Mr Countryman,

Sorry to raise this issue here at this site. As you never give audience to any one over the phone or by mail. You are arrogant and self centered person. I ever regret conducting job on your company's behalf. Upon bringing matter to your attention all I heard was 'Me' I and 'Mine'

Good luck to your 'ONE MAN' show.

Bob

Restaurant Report

AUTHOR: Robert nsite inc. - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, March 19, 2011

My name is Robert Countryman and I'm currently the CEO of Nsite Inc.  I'm going through the internet and clearing up all incorrect accusations about Nsite Inc.  We are not a one-man shop run by a scam artist.  This individual that is filing this report went to the wrong restaurant.  We were not able to use the report.  In turn, we could not bill the client and we could not pay the independent contractor for her work.  If you have any concerns, feel free to visit our site at www.nsiteinc.com and click on the BBB link which will show we have an A rating.  If you have any other questions or concerns, feel free to contact me directly at robert@nsiteinc.com or even call me at 952-451-5858.  Thanks for your time, Robert Countryman
