Oakwood sold me a moble home in the year 2000. I went to oakwood in the year 2001 to ask them if they would take the home back.

They said they would take the house back and sell it to someone else. They did what is called an assumtion. I signed some papers releasing myself of any financial respsibility.

Feb 23 2008 I'm getting a call from some jerk telling me I owe Oakwood $35,000. But he could take care of the debt if I came up with $5000 to $10000.

Something is wrong here. This practice should be Illegal.
