Oakwood Manufactured Homes ripoff needed to be read by all people with Oakwood Homes in mind Greensboro North Carolina

I bought a 2000 model doublewide manufactured home from oakwood homes in Alexandria,La. The salesman made everything sound good until it was signing time, the salesman ran thought the paperwork as fast as we could sign names, he wanted to use a lot model home serial number to get the loan approved, not knowing that same home would be the one delivered 3 weeks later, but was still priced as a new home. I was a first time home buyer with good enough credit and a down payment to build a $100,000 home, but really like how a manufactured home look and the price of them. After the home was delivered it took 2 different contractors to set the home up the way it should have been, and still wasnt set up right. I was working offshore at the time and the salesman called my wife back to his office to resign papers, the first were supposed to be misprinted, well come to find out we got hit with a 15.75% intrest rate which put a $45,000 home at the end of a 30 year mortgage paying $175,000 towards something in 30 years wont even still be together. So i have move the home to Scott,La. i have tried to sell the home many times and no one will even loan the money to people to purchase the home from Oakwood and wont even give me a loan either. I found a dealer that would help me out and refinace the home until he called Oakwood and they gave him 2 different payoffs and with no equity in the home with a payoff of $45,000 and the homes book value is $12,000 sad aint it. I hope this letter is read by young and older couples that plan to buy a manufactured home from Oakwood or any of their other companies to believe and read not just my story but story of others who have went throught the nightmare of an Oakwood Home purchase
