Recently I received my monthly telephone bill from BellSouth. I noticed that the amount was higher than usual, so I looked at the detail more closely than I normally do.

On page 6 (of 8) of the bill under Miscellaneous Charges and Credits, is listed "Service Provider - USA Voicemail For billing questions call 1-800-944-9646" then it says to contact the Service Provider directly, call . No one ever answers--all you hear is a fast busy signal.

Shown in the left margin, beside this information, is "For OAN Services, Inc. Billing Questions, Call 1-800-926-7514. No one ever answers this number either.

Believe me, I will pay more attention to the detail charges for all of my bills from now on!
