OAN Services AKA Privasafe AKA Operator Assistance Network Fraudulent billing on local phone bill for internet e-mail services not ordered. RIPOFF Fort Lee New Jersey

OAN services, Inc. included on my bill from my local phone co. a charge of $14.95 plus taxes for "Privasafe email svc monthly fee". I did not order any such service, nor am I sure what service is actually being offered here.

Attempts to call the customer service number listed on the bill were unsuccessful, resulting in an automated message that their voicemail was full. I have not yet contacted my local phone co., but feel they were not knowingly involved in this scam.

I did attempt to reach OAN's customer service dept. through a default customer phone number (probably their own) mentioned in the automated message and was informed that customer service hours are 8 AM to 6 PM Monday - Friday Central time. I am still trying to speak to an actual human at this number.

I have sent an e-mail to their e-mail support address and am still awaiting their response.
